as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;
His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace,
and His voice as the sound of many waters…
He stands alone and above all. He has no peers, no equals, no opposites. He is the Exclusive Christ; there is none like unto Him. There is no one to whom He must appeal. There is no one to whom He must answer. He is the Eternal Revelation of the Father. To see Him is to see God!
He says to the blind man, "What do you want Me to do for you?" The man answered, "Lord, that I may receive my sight." He says to the man with the withered hand, "Stretch it forth." He says to the lame, "Rise and walk." There are no exceptions and no boundaries to be placed on the requests for His intervention because Christ's power is without limits-it is inexhaustible. The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them (Matthew 11:5).
Death has no finality for Him, for He is the Resurrection and the Life and can say to the lifeless body of a man four days in the grave, ? "Lazarus, come forth"- and Lazarus comes forth!
He yielded to no temptation, for His constant answer was the Eternal Word. He walked in this world as the Living Word of the Eternal God, and, as the second Adam, He overcame all that Satan could throw at Him. When He was crucified and buried, He over-came death and took the keys of Death and Hell, and arose victorious to open the way of life for all who would believe on Him.
From Genesis to Revelation, He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. He never diminishes or expands; He is the Constant, the Measure of all things, The Apostle Paul says of Him, "…He is before all things, and in Him all things consist" (Colossians 1:17).
You can neither hide from Him nor escape Him. David says of Him, "If I ascend into heaven, You are there; / If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. / If I take the wings of the morning, / And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, / Even there Your hand shall lead me, / And Your right hand shall hold me" (Psalm 139:8-10).
He is the great and final warrior, who will come to judge the earth and all mankind: "Now, I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS" (Revelation 19:11-16).
He stands the last and final Judge of all. His Judgment is final; from it there is no appeal. You will either stand or fall at his Word alone. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12).
