And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
There are few sights more beautiful than a full moon shining brightly against a black velvet night sky. That is probably why the moon has also been the subject of many songs and poems. Yet as lovely as it appears, the moon has no light sources of its own. If it did not reflect the light from the sun, it would just be an unseen ball of rock.
We are like the moon. Without Christ, the Light of the World, in our lives we would be barren and lifeless. Yet, once we accept Christ, He will transform us into something useful. As we become more like the Son, we will become a true reflection of His light. We will be able to lead others to Him and be useful to His kingdom.
